Man did we have a long weekend ahead of us! Amazingly enough, at the end of the chipping, we didn't come across any snakes! Thank goodness! We saw a couple of pretty large scorpions, but no snakes!

Brian's dad, Walter, is a never ending source of energy! I guess that is the benefit of running so much and being so fit. He is great! We couldn't have gotten it all done without him. Brian and I were whooped!! We worked from 8:30-6pm on Saturday and the same time on Sunday and finished 7 huge piles. We barely made it! We were alloted with the weekend fee for the chipper 8 hours of actually running time, and we finished with 11 hours of actually running time! We had to pay a little extra for going over but that was't a big deal to us, we just wanted to get it all done and over with however long it took! But that is alot of chipping! The 11 hours running time doesn't include the times we turned it off to take breaks (which were few and far between!), the time we took to separate the cedars from the pile to make the chipping time more efficent. So we defintely got our money's worth! Our bodies felt it too!
