My comments include: I am curious in tracing backwards the connection between persons listed on this web-site and my great-grandfather. His name was "Junius Preston Foxworth" and he raised his family in Florence, SC. as well where the last 3 generations of my family was born. Any information would be appreciated.

My comments include: Hello Jaime--I especially enjoyed your genealogy because I found two of my ancestor lines, Edwards and Foxworth. Both migrated to North Carolina, USA, 1600-1700 and both are very difficult to trace back to England. I especially enjoyed your entertaining research on the Edwards line. My comments include: I am looking for any information of the Cahoon family in Hyde County, N.C. James C. Cahoon would be my great great grandfather and born Feb. 05, 1825, Hyde County, N.C. Married Mary Jane Foxworth, Jan 31, 1866, in Marion, S.C..They moved to Gainesville, Fla., area after her was released as prisoner (CN) from Union Army.Mary Jane Foxworth's father was Eli Terry Foxworth, Marion, S.C. Some of the Foxworth's moved to Florida, as well. Cahoon family and Foxworth families buried in Melrose, Fla. (30 miles east of Gainesville, Fla.
