**Note: The information gathered here is a piece by piece collection from many sources that I have combined personally to create a more complete early GIBSON Family History. If you would like to know the sources used to gain this information, please feel free to email me. The permission of those living individuals described here has been obtained in order to post their information.
Some information listed was gathered from communication with Anne G. Tindall (agt@carolina.net) who has been researching the ADAMS and GIBSON families for many years and is very knowledgeable on the families. Two secondary sources include Franklin Farmer's "Known Descendants of Ziba Gibson as of 5/17/1993" and Blanche Gibson Hamer (1950) "Genealogical Record of Thomas Gibson--and Interrelated Families." These are great resources if you have not viewed them!
