      Peter was born on 3/04/1669 in Buchsh Parish, Canton, Zurich,Bern, Switzerland. He died on 12/22/1758 and is buried on the Plantation of Peter Moorer, Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Peter and Dorothy immigrated 7/13/1735 on the ship 'Samuel' from Rotterdam via Cowes with their son Peter Jr. Wife Dorothy died on that trip and he never remarried. He married Dorothy in Canton, Zurich, Switzerland. She was born ca. 1680 and died 1735 in the Netherlands. The 1 known child of Peter Moorer and Dorothy are as follows:

      Peter was born ca. 1720 in Busch, Zurich, Switzerland. He died in 1790 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Immigrated 7/13/1735 on ship 'Samuel' with his father Peter Moorer, Sr. and mother Dorothy. He married Magdalene Horger on 4/02/1751 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She was born ca. 1730 in Zurich, Switzerland and died in 1805 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. (** Also found documentation that she was born in Orangeburg) The 3 known children of Peter Moorer and Magdalene Horger are as follows:

      John was born 8/04/1754 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. He died in 1814 in St. George Parish, Colleton, SC. He married Catherine Stroman on 11/26/1776 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She was born 1756 in Orangeburg, South Carolina and died ca. 1790 in South Carolina. The 5 known children of John Reddick and Catherine Stroman are as follows:
