My comments include: I am descended from Peter Moorer, Jr. on the maternal side, through Frederick. Do you have any information on his line? The family left South Carolina for Lowndes County, Al. in the late 1700 - early 1800s. Thanks, this is a great site.Brian Vickery

My comments include: My father Willie Moorer was born and raised in Alabama, and moved up to Delaware with his family.....I was raised in Delaware, but now reiside in Atlanta....It's funny because, I new my mother's geneology, but not my father's in depth...I'm interested to know more, because my father and I both are African American...E mail me when you get a chance....Peace and God Bless......John

My comments include: This is great! It really helped me with my research, I am related through the Moorer line. My ggg Grandfather was Thos. H. Snow, Jr. who's father the Sr. Snow married Elvira Moorer. She was the granddaughter of Frederick Peter Moorer. He had another son named John Jacob Moorer with antoher wife Matilda Hayes. All this info is great I must say again. It truly has helped me in my research.
