My comments include: Am searching for information on James Enoch Stone of Charleston, South Carolina who fought in the Civil War in General Beauregard's command. He then went to Texas and setled in Waco. He married Alonzo Crouch of Hill County, Texas. He died in 1913. He was born in about 1840 or 1841. I'm really just beginning this and have very litttle information, except an obituary. He would have been my great grandfather. Your site is beautifully done.
