My comments include: I had John S. Stubbs who married Rebecca Conner with being the son of Richard or James Stubbs. I had 2 references for Richard and 2 for James. I was so confused. My comments include: I am descended from Elijah Beverly who died in Orange Ct. N.C. He left orphan chldren. I have read that John Stubbs who married Pheribe Beverly and lived in Marlboro Cty., SC, took over making arrangements for the children but later Harmon Hubands made the arrangements. Do you haved any info about this or about the Beverly family in general?
